Welcome to St John the Baptist, Flitton
Our lovely church serves the villages of Flitton, Greenfield and Wardhedges. We have a small congregation, but we still have a service most Sundays.
We cater for all tastes, from the traditional through to the informal. Whether you are familiar with the Church of England or new to it, we are sure you will find something you can appreciate. We hope you will come and visit the church and take part in our activities.
We are delighted to announce that we can now open the church for private prayer. We are opening 'by appointment' only so if you would like to go, please get in touch with Angela to arrange a mutually convenient time. See more information on the Flitton Services page.
We will be considering next how and when we can start running services, but we are proceeding with caution. We continue to provide whatever online resources we can find that we think might be useful for you on our 'services' page. Our own ministry team record services from their own homes which are posted on YouTube, and we there are links to this on the benefice 'virtual vicar' page.
June 24th was our 'Patronal Festival' - in other words, the day we celebrate St John the Baptist, after whom our beautiful church is named.
